Remote Training At PEER

TRANSITION TO REMOTE TRAINING WITH PEER

PEER has recently implemented remotely delivered training to many of our apprentices. The introduction of remote training provides apprentices with greater flexibility to complete theory components of their apprenticeship training whilst receiving the same level of training and support for those that attend PEER’s trade training centre.

Each remote training class is led by a dedicated trainer who supports and coaches the students remotely through their theory components of training with practical components conducted later in the year. Apprentices are invited to join a class via Microsoft Teams and connect with their trainer. Trainers will be available online to answer questions and support students through their learning. Currently, we have 400 students actively participating in remote training with PEER.

PEER will continue to provide resources and assistance for students and apprentices who engage in remote training and ensure they are tracking progress and remain on target for completion.

"I was good at Maths, so I was drawn to an Electrical Apprenticeship. PEER offer really good job security and experience because they send you to different host employers and we gain a variety of experience which you probably wouldn't get with a direct employer."
